It is a way to make the field more navigable without losing its distinctions.

A useful Domain Mandala therefore does not impose a universal taxonomy. It begins by clarifying the domain’s own center, its important relationships, its working distinctions, and its limits.
A learning model, not a generator#
The learning movement is simple: begin with a central question, view a map of important relationships, explore a selected path, and return with a clearer sense of the whole. The Mandala Learning Protocol is relevant because understanding grows through preparation, engagement, reinforcement, application, and reflection—not through information delivery alone.

The map should make room for disagreement, discovery, and changing levels of expertise. It is a learning aid, not a final authority over the domain itself.
